How to make the right choice when buying a stationary pool? After all, you are buying it for more than one season, you will not be able to quickly disassemble, reinstall, add the functions you need. It can come to the point where instead of pleasant emotions, the word “pool” will cause a lot of negative emotions and you will always remember the day you decided to buy it. To prevent this from happening and to join the ranks of those lucky people who fully enjoy all the delights of swimming pools, we decided to help you in this difficult task.

A little history. It all started in 1977 when the Mivett family founded Martins Pool & Spa in Australia. In 1980, the name Compass Pools appeared, now known all over the world. The company’s concept remains unchanged today, which has allowed it to gain worldwide recognition and always be one step ahead.
In 1993, 2 unique technologies for the production of swimming pools using high-tech ceramic Ceramic Core™ were patented. It allows you to significantly increase the durability of the pool due to increased strength, special hydro and thermal insulation properties. Thanks to this layer, the pool is protected from osmosis.
Crystite® technology (also known as Bi-luminite™) has changed the way we think about pool colour forever. It gives the pool a three-dimensional colour – this is achieved by combining shiny particles and two layers of paint under a transparent resin layer. This is how the 6 primary NovaTM colours were created. In 1997, Compass Pools, together with Paramount®, developed the Compass Vantage System™, the world’s first self-cleaning pool technology. In 2013. Compass Europe s.r.o. (after 4 years of research) creates the technology:
– Carbon edition® – additional reinforcement of the pool structure;
– ClousedBeam – a closed side.

The chemical laboratory at the Genkem plant in Australia introduced this special material in 1993.
Developed on the basis of high-tech ceramics, it is ready for use as part of a flexible composite laminate. The use of ceramics is the most significant step in the technology of composite pools. For the stiffeners, a special balsa wood material is used, a rare and valuable type of wood with an excellent ratio of strength, lightness, heat and water resistance. This species is used in the manufacture of surfboards, aircraft and shipbuilding.
To increase the strength of the pool, carbon is added to the structure, which has the highest strength of all reinforcing materials. Carbon is also used in such industries as aviation, the automotive industry and yachting.
