With the first warm rays of spring sunshine, every homeowner tidies up their yard. This, of course, also applies to the deconservation of the pool after winter. It is necessary to drain the water, wash it, add fresh water, connect all the equipment and start filtration.
Please note that it is best to do this in the air temperature range of 10-15°C. Temperatures above 15 °C provide suitable conditions for algae growth, which can make the pool cleaning process more difficult and expensive (more time, chemicals and tools will be required).
Before you start deconservation of the pool after winter, make sure that there is no groundwater under the pool, if there is, turn on the drainage pump.
When draining the pool, use brushes to wash off all the dirt from the sides.
When all the water is drained, wash it again, but this time with a special pool cleaner. After that, replace the lamps, counterflow, nozzles and fill the pool.
Go to the technical room.
Check the sand in the barrel (we recommend changing it at least once every 3-4 seasons), all pumps, connections and pipes. When everything is checked, connect the equipment and flush the sand filter. After that, you can make a test run.
When you first start up, you need to prepare the water itself. First, do shock chlorination and leave the pool in circulation mode for 12 hours. Then bring the pH to 7.2-7.4.
If you have an automatic water disinfection system installed, follow the instructions to start it up.
Once all the processes are complete, you can enjoy your pool!
